Tomato Zapotec Pleated

Beschreibung

The large, mild-to-sweet tasting, deep pink fruit are very attractive indeed, especially when sliced, with pronounced pleats and hollows within the flesh as illustrated. When sliced and arranged in a salad they always make a serious talking point, and this rare and quite astonishing tomato is sold at inflated prices in exotic fruit shops. It was named after the Zapotec people of Oaxaca, Mexico, who developed this attractive tomato. (Cordon)
