- Impressive height (~70 cm) to create architectural impact

? Light & Placement
Thrives in full sun to bright indirect light. Place near south or west-facing windows for optimal growth and to maintain its strong vertical shape.
? Water & Humidity
Water sparingly. Allow soil to dry out completely between waterings. Highly drought-tolerant and prefers low humidity, mimicking its native African environment.
? Soil & Potting
Use a very well-draining cactus or succulent mix to prevent root rot. Repot only when root-bound to maintain stability.
? Toxicity & Safety
Contains a toxic latex sap that can irritate skin and is harmful if ingested. Always handle with gloves and keep away from pets and children.
? Growth & Propagation
Grows upright with occasional candelabra-like branches. Propagation via cuttings is possible but requires careful handling due to sap toxicity.
? Seasonal & Special Care
Reduce watering significantly in winter when growth slows. Rotate occasionally to maintain even growth and prevent leaning towards the light.
? Common Issues
Generally pest-resistant but watch for mealybugs or scale on stems. Avoid overwatering to prevent root rot.
