The Allium, also known as „ornamental onion,“ is a unique bulb that adds a splash of color to the garden. They bloom between May and June, just when the spring flowers are past their peak and the summer blooms are just beginning to bloom. This makes them the perfect bulbs to bridge this often dull period in the garden! This mix contains 5 different varieties of ornamental onions that will give your garden a true explosion of color! The ornamental onion flowers look striking from a distance, but the closer you look, the more beautiful they become! The bulbs can be planted between September and December. This flower bulb mix consists of: Allium Purple Sensation, Allium Ping Pong, Allium Nectaroscordum, Allium Sphaerocephalon, and Allium Gladiator.
Dog Care
Caring for an ornamental onion is not difficult: the plant mainly requires a sunny spot. Furthermore, it is sufficient to water the Allium at least once a week. In the autumn, cut away all faded flowers, but leave the green leaves. These die off in the winter. The Allium is winter-hardy, so you can safely leave the plant outside. So that you can enjoy it again next summer!
