The Acer palmatum ‚Going Green‘ is a Japanese maple with fresh green leaves and yellow-orange autumn colours. Very beautiful with this species are the bright green coloured twigs, which are especially noticeable in the winter. It is a very strong plant that can easily grow 200 cm or higher. Pruning is not a problem, do that in the late summer or early autumn. This Maple species prefers not to be in full sun.
Dog Care
Japanese maples are best planted from March to early October. During this period, the soil is warmer and the plants can root well. In a planter, this plant does not require special potting soil. Japanese maples are strong plants, but the leaves can be damaged in a windy spot. Therefore, place the Acer in a sheltered spot. The plant prefers a spot in partial shade, preferably not too much direct sunlight. Too much direct sunlight can dry out the roots, which can lead to leaf loss and burn the leaves. A Japanese maple is not evergreen, which means that it loses its leaves in the winter. However, the plant is very winter-hardy and will sprout again from March with beautiful new leaves.

The plant has a height of 50-60cm upon delivery, measured including the nursery pot. The plant is supplied in a nursery pot with a diameter of 19cm.
